Director of Field Services

Position: Director of Field Services Location: New York City, Hybrid Industry: B2B SaaS - IoT, Healthtech Our client, a fast-growing IoT and SaaS company serving healthcare facilities across 45 states, is seeking a Director of Field Services to lead and scale their national field operations. You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of smart compliance devices (e.g., emergency lights, pressure monitors, fridge/fire extinguisher monitors), ensuring high-quality service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage a strategic field services roadmap aligned with company goals. Build and lead a team of traveling field technicians nationwide. Oversee installation and repair of wireless, battery-operated IoT devices (10-min install time/device). Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and support teams to deliver excellent service. Manage budgets, performance metrics, and reporting to senior leadership. Solve complex customer issues quickly and professionally. Requirements: Proven experience leading national field service teams, ideally in healthcare environments. Strong understanding of healthcare standards (OSHA, CHC, CHFM preferred). Technical proficiency in project management and field operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills. 5+ years of relevant experience or a degree in construction management/engineering. Willingness to travel extensively with short notice. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a supervisor, lead tech, or trainer. Skills in mechanical, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or similar trades. Certifications: CHC, CHFM (preferred). Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $120,000–$150,000 Equity options Healthcare benefits + 410K Unlimited PTO, and paid holidays
