Our client is a fast-growing, Sequoia-backed legal tech startup building a no-code automation and AI-powered Matter Management platform used by global brands like SAP, BMW, Disney, and Coca-Cola. With a team of 70 across the U.S., Australia, and Asia, they’re shaping the future “Legal Service Hub” for modern in-house legal teams.
About the Role:
This is a strategic BDR role and a critical growth hire. You’ll partner closely with the Founding BDR and executive leadership to build and execute outbound playbooks that target senior legal stakeholders (CLOs, GCs, Legal Ops) at mid-market and enterprise organizations. Expect a blend of strategy, process building, and hands-on outbound execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Build outbound systems, processes, and messaging
- Research and engage senior legal leaders to understand their pain points
- Craft compelling outreach and book qualified introductory meetings
- Own outbound data, testing, and performance insights
- Manage inbound leads from marketing and events
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, and leadership
- Maintain CRM accuracy and meet/exceed activity & pipeline targets
Requirements:
- 1+ year in outbound BDR or hunting sales role (enterprise SaaS preferred)
- Based on the west coast to help support the APAC region
- Strong writer and communicator; thrives in a fast-paced startup
- Gritty, data-driven, creative, and process-oriented
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets
